Spring Training

This year we continued our bi-annual trip to Sanibel Island, FL for a little sun and Red Sox Spring Training.  In a break from tradition (granted, the tradition consisted of one previous trip) we managed to overlap for a few days our stay with Steve, Lauren, Jack and my Dad.  Also, in celebration of Katie's Dad's 50th birthday (Oct 29, 2007), the entire Poulin clan joined us for the week.

Despite some sickness (the Magoun men were all sick at some point, oddly no one else seemed to be affected), everyone had a great time.  Highlights of the trip included seeing family, relaxing on the beach, biking around the very flat (but sometimes surprisingly windy) island, seeing a bobcat, and enjoying the Red Sox.  We didn't manage to take too many pictures, but we did get some.

The earrings Katie is wearing were made by my mom's best college friend, Ann Feeley.  There were so many positive comments by other fans that we're trying to get her to sell them.

All good on Sanibel, other than Magoun Men sickness ... I think it may be related to overdosing on Vitamin D (Sunshine)

Note that a decade or so ago, Shorewood 1B was rented for the month of spring training to the owner of the Sox.
