Story Land

Day two of our NH adventure was primarily taken up by Story Land. For those of you not familiar with Story Land, don't fret. I wasn't either. It is basically a giant amusement park geared to kids under 8 I'd say. Everything is kid sized, including the rides parents need to stuff themselves into to accompany the kids.

Before the real adventure began Katie and I were able to take a short run in the woods and enjoy Diana's Bath without the throngs of people.

We also stopped at "that place, near the thing."  Also know as a look out over the Mt. Washington Valley (Mt. Washington is somewhere in the background).

And a panoramic shot. The weather was perfect the whole weekend.

The scenic lookout also had one of these. The kids were so clueless about what it was that they couldn't even understand the concept of what we were trying to do.

And then there was Story Land.

Some of us were more excited to ride the rides than others...

Although the kids did like it too.

Walking over the bridge to Cinderella's Castle.

And up the road to her castle.

View from said castle.

And Cinderella herself! Despite really wanting to meet Cinderella, and talking about it a fair amount that morning, Molly was a little skeptical.

Inside the pumpkin coach.

Molly's love of turtles continues. She likes them so much she even went on one of these twirl'n'puke rides.

We also went on the flying fish. Molly had a blast "driving" the fish in the wind as it spun around. You can also see Katie and Wes in the one behind us.

This trip was also the first time Molly was able to go on a real roller coaster. She met the height limit for the Roar-O-Saurus. Despite the look on her face (which is PRICELESS!) she actually liked it.
