Due to the chaos surrounding our move to the new house (finally!) this past weekend, Andy and I spent a quiet and relaxing Christmas day watching seasonally appropriate movies and trying quite successfully to avoid the mountains of boxes that we have piled everywhere. The day's biggest milestone was not the arrival of some long-awaited gift from Santa, but our long-awaited first fire in our newly relined fireplace! We'd love to share pictures, but we can't remember where we packed the camera!
Just kidding...
Though it feels like a mess, there are signs that we're making progress such as the new dining room curtains that I managed to install today while Andy was at work:
