Molly's first Christmas is done and in the books. Below are a few pictures from the past few days.

Molly couldn't wait to get her hands on all her presents (and under the tree, they were pretty much
all
her presents).

Aunt Ellete's family sent a wonderful gift to the Poulins. Molly, however, was more interested in the box it was shipped in.

She was also more at ease with Uncle Nate, especially since
the last time she saw him.

The final result.

Katie and Molly got matching owl hats. Molly's attempt to remove the hat doesn't show particular displeasure for the hat, she does that with every hat we put on her.

Katie and Molly got to read some of her new books. This one is about Maine of all places.

Molly also got a walker-thingy. She's been really into standing (so far she still needs assistance) so she was thrilled to get this. It won't be too long until she can actually walk with it... which will freak the animals out.

Later Christmas Day we went over to Great Uncle Mike and Great Aunt Valerie's house. Molly got to show off her new dress to Great-Grandpa Overlock and others.

This was later in a day full of presents so Molly is a bit out of it at times.

...unless there are more presents to open!

Everyone got to get in on the action. Great-Aunt Cindy is helping Molly here.

This pic didn't work out as well as I would have liked. Molly has always been fascinated by ceiling fans and ceiling lights. Valerie and Mike had not one, but two ceiling fan/light combinations! Multiple times throughout the afternoon Molly would just stare up at them.

Great Aunt Val gets into the action.

Molly also got to visit with her Great-Great Grandpa!

After a day of being the center of attention, who wouldn't just want to snuggled up to Momma and suck their thumb?

The next day the Patriot's played. Molly and Uncle Nate practiced the touchdown! sign.

By halftime Molly had warmed up to Uncle Nate a great deal.

The past few days has also seen Molly's first official blizzard (we were in one of three towns in Maine that met all the criteria:
- sustained wind or frequent gusts to 35 miles an hour or greater; and
- reduced visibility to less than 1/4 mile
- all happening for 3 or more hours

Of course we had to take advantage of the snow.

Note the matching hats again.

Molly's first snow angel!

Since it was a blizzard, we figured what better time to bust out the heavy-duty long underwear?
