Pirates Beware!

With the current issues the world is experiencing with piracy (Somalia, Gulf of Guinea, etc) one can never be too safe.  Thankfully the United States Navy has decided that Old Town Alexandria is a key battle ground in this Global War On Piracy (GWOP) and must be protected.  To that end, they sent the USS Freedom to ward off any scurvy dogs.  Arrrrrr!

Or it could just be that they're showing off their newest toy.

Either way, the USS Freedom is docked just a few blocks from our house and is giving tours.  Hopefully we'll be able to take one tomorrow and post some pics.  Admit it, you're jealous.
